I thank my parishioners for your wonderful welcome on the first weekend in my newly assigned parish. We can all work together and do things in God's name to better our spiritual and social life. It is a lengthy task but possible with the grace of God. Of course, we will have our differences and preferences in in life, however faith is what keeps us in Christ Jesus for we work to bring his kingdom on earth. Let us try to make our lives worth living with the Joy of the Risen Lord where we are all heading to be Risen people in Christ Jesus...

When I got the assignment letter from Cadinal Dolan asking me to serve St. Teresa's Church, I gladly accepted the call for I knew where I was going as I lived in the merged parishes of St. Joseph and St. James. It is like home coming to continue my pastoral work in Lower Manhattan. I like to work with different ethnic groups who bring different dimensions of faith and spiritual life. We come from different countries but we are Americans. The Church gives us the identity to function as persons of Christ Jesus...
