What is Automated Giving?

An alternate means to support St. Teresa's Church and Nativity Church instead of envelopes. In lieu of weekly collections, the ParishPay program will collect monthly contributions from your checking, saving, or credit card account. There is NO cost to participate in the program.

What are the benefits to me?

1. Allows you to plan your giving, in the same way you budget your other financial commitments.
2. You no longer have to be concerned about catching-up missed offertory donations when you miss a Mass because you are out of town, on vacation, ill, etc.
3. You can easily adjust the amount of your automated contribution (increase or decrease) via secure website access.
4. You no longer need to write a check every week.
5. You can easily get a report at the end of the year for use when preparing your income taxes.
6. If you use a credit card, you may 'earn' mileage or rewards through your card company.

How do I enroll?

Enrollment is easy and free. You can sign up directly on the ParishPay website by clicking this link www.parishpay.com or call ParishPay at 866-PARISH1 (866-727-4741).

Who can give using ParishPay?

Anyone who would like to support St. Teresa's Church and Nativty Church can use ParishPay to give a donation. You do not need to be a parishioner.

How does it relate to the use of the Weekly Envelopes?

If you choose to participate in the Automated Giving Program, then it replaces the use of weekly envelopes.

What about Special Collections?

You can specify your giving preference for Second Collections and special celebration dates (e.g., Christmas, Easter) when you join ParishPay, or anytime thereafter.

Can I give a one time Donation?

Yes, a special one-time gift can be made. Participants can also arrange for a specific amount to be paid over a number of months.

Do I receive receipts for tax purposes?

Yes, all contributors enrolled in the program can print out an annual receipt directly from the website every January. This can be used as documentation for the Internal Revenue Service. The parish will also receive a list of the parishioners and their contributions.

What happens with parishioners who feel uncomfortable not having something to physically drop into the collection basket?

Special donation slips are available for those enrolled in the automated giving program to be dropped into the collection basket. We encourage you to join your fellow parishioners who continue to drop envelopes into the basket by using these printable slips as the symbol of your stewardship giving to Christ in the liturgy through support of St. Teresa's and Nativity Church. There is no need to enclose the slip in an envelope.
